Pittsburgh Yards Mixed-use Project Lands Federal Grant

The federal government is lending a helping hand to a mixed-use development in south Atlanta’s Pittsburgh neighborhood.

The U.S. Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration awarded a $1.5 million grant Tuesday to the state of Georgia to help fund infrastructure improvements related to the “Pittsburgh Yards” project, which broke ground at a 31-acre site last March.
